Ganguly chooses to field, Lanka makes two changes

Birmingham: Indian captain Saurav Ganguly won the toss and put Sri Lanka in to bat in the Natwest trophy triangular series match on Saturday.

India retained the same team that played England at Chester-le-Street on Thursday while Sri Lanka made two changes, bringing in Pramodya Wickramasinghe in place of Nuwan Zoysa and Thilan Samaraweera in place of Kumara Sangakkara.

The teams (from): India: Saurav Ganguly (captain), Virender Sehwag, Dinesh Mongia, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Ajit Agarkar, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra and Anil Kumble.

Sri Lanka: Sanath Jayasuriya (captain), Marvan Atapattu, Romesh Kaluwitharana, Mahela Jayawardene, Russel Arnold, Avishka Gunawardene, Dilhara Fernando, Upul Chandana, Chaminda Vaas, Thilan Samaraweera, and Pramodya Wickramasinghe.

Umpires: Steve Bucknor (West Indies) and Neil Mallender (England).

Third umpire: Peter Willey (England).
