London: English county club Lancashire on Tuesday confirmed the signing of Indian spin sensation Harbhajan Singh as the county's second overseas player for next season.
Harbhajan has signed a one-year deal and joins Australian Stuart Law on the overseas roster for 2003. "We are delighted to have secured the services of one of the world's leading spin bowlers," Lancashire cricket manager Mike Watkinson said.
"Hopefully his talents will be the perfect foil for our crop of very promising young pace bowlers." Harbhajan, currently touring England with India, has claimed 110 wickets in his short Test career.
