Kolkata: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday lavishly praised the Indian cricket team for the stupendous victory against England in the third Test of the ongoing series at Leeds.

In a congratulatory message to skipper Saurav Ganguly soon after India recorded its biggest win outside the country, BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya lauded the 'spirited performance' of all members of the side. "The Indian domination throughout the match in all departments of the game was all the more satisfying," the message said. "My heartiest congratulations to you (Saurav Ganguly) and all members for a superb victory.

The entire nation joins me in looking forward to a repeat performance at the Oval, which is incidentally little genius Sachin Tendulkar's 100th Test," he added. Later, talking to newspersons, Dalmiya said that he had never seen such a high level of performance from the Indian team, particularly on foreign soil.
