Bangalore: Six nations have automatically qualified for this World Cup, based on their performances at the 2000 World Cup - New Zealand (titleholders), Australia (beaten finalists), India, South Africa, England and Sri Lanka.[an error occurred while processing this directive] Two spots remain and a qualifying tournament will be played in Holland inJuly 2003.
