Former Test opener Matthew Elliott compiled 80.Earlier, Tasmania was dismissed for 224 in reply to Victoria's first innings of 353 for nine declared.Thursday's hat-trick hero Shane Harwood finished with five for 55 and Tasmanian tail-ender Shane Jurgensen made a quick-fire 45, the second highest score of the innings.
