Clark bowls NSW to thrilling victory over Tasmania
Brisbane: Champion Queensland cruised to a 10-wicket victory over Western Australia in its Sheffield Shield match at the Gabba on Tuesday. Queensland openers Jimmy Maher and Brendan Nash made short work of a 24-run target to secure the outright points in four overs prior to lunch on the third day of the four-day game. The outright victory took Queensland to third on the standings with 16 points and it has a match in hand over leaders Victoria (20) and NSW (18). Western Australia is on six points. Western Australia resumed at 62 for five and any hope of a fight back was snuffed out on the fourth ball of the morning when Ashley Noffke bowled Brad Hogg. Western Australia was bowled out for 126 in its second innings.
