Kolkata: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday decided to call an emergency general meeting (EGM) on December 25 to discuss the 'final offer' from International Cricket Council (ICC) to resolve the contracts issue. A hurriedly-called meeting of the office-bearers of BCCI felt that the final decision in this regard should be taken by the EGM. ICC had on Thursday made its final offer, granting a series of concessions in the original contracts clause to enable India to send its best team to the next year's World Cup. ICC said India should either accept this offer and send its best team to the World Cup or face the prospect of being penalised for non-fulfilment of its commitments under the Participating Nations Agreement.
