Cape Town: England captain Nasser Hussain won the toss and elected to bat in the World Cup Group 'A' match against Pakistan at Newlands on Saturday.

The teams: England: Nasser Hussain (captain), Marcus Trescothick, Nick Knight, Michael Vaughan, Paul Collingwood, Alec Stewart, Andrew Flintoff, Craig White, Ashley Giles, Andrew Caddick and James Anderson.
