New Delhi: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Saturday night congratulated the Indian cricket team on its spectacular victory over Pakistan in the World Cup match in Centurion.Vajpayee watched the crucial match along with his family, PMO sources told. Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, who also sat through to see the match, also expressed happiness over India's victory, saying, "well done boys, keep it up".He said their performance would bring laurels to the country. Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi also felicitated the Indian team for theexcellent show put up by them at Centurion. Joshi was formerly vice-president of BCCI. Congress president Sonia Gandhi also congratulated the Indian cricket teamfor its win over Pakistan and said it had done the nation proud with itsperformance. "You and your team have done us proud and filled the heart of every Indian.My warmest congratulations to each one of you," Gandhi said in her messageto Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly."May you bring India even greater glory in the matches to come," she said.
