Adelaide: Pace bowler Jason Gillespie was positive on Monday about his prospects of overcoming his latest injury setback and going on next month's four-Test cricket tour of the Caribbean. Gillespie, who was forced out of Australia's World Cup squad by a lower calf muscle injury a fortnight ago, was on Monday selected as part of a 15-man national squad to tour the West Indies. "The injury's healing really well and the rehab's been going well, the treatment and whatnot," Gillespie told reporters here at a press conference. This week will be strength work and hopefully I'll be running by the end of this week or early next week. "Everything's positive and I'm expected to be bowling before or just on the start of next month." Copyright AFP 2001
