Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani hinted he was not immune to the cricket fever, referring to the March 23 match during his address on languages on Friday."Australia se to mukabla hoga 23 tareek ko (There will be a fight with Australia on March 23)," Advani said as he mentioned the kinds of English language used by the British, Americans and Australians.

Advani is not the only national political leader to have shown exceptional love for cricket. Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had watched the match between India and traditional rivals Pakistan on March 1 with great interest and had shot off a letter to the Indian skipper congratulating the team.Several political leaders are already in South Africa to watch the final match and cheer the Indian team.
