Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is likely to change the dates of the three-day tour opener between Board President's XI and the visiting New Zealand team to be held at Rajkot from September 26-28. The Kiwis, who are scheduled to arrive on September 23, might have to travel all the way to Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh to play their first practice match against India 'A', according to a BCCI official on Wednesday.

"It will be easy for the visitors to travel from Rajkot to Ahmedabad in Gujarat, the venue of the first Test match which was shifted from Kanpur on Tuesday, instead of travelling to Rajkot first and then to Vishakhapatanam and back to Ahmedabad," he added. The Kiwis would be playing a two-match Test series followed by a triangular One-day tournament with world champions Australia as the third team.
