Harbhajan wants to focus more on Kiwi series

Chennai: Off spinner Harbhajan Singh, on Saturday said he did not want to play in the two matches prior to the coming series against New Zealand, as it would only be advantageous to the visitors. "Playing in the matches for the Board President's XI and India 'A' against New Zealand will only be advantageous to the visitors" he told reporters here even as he stated that he was looking forward to the Test series.

On his performance in the Irani Trophy tie against Mumbai On Saturday, when he bagged four wickets, he said "I have been wanting to get into my rhythm and am happy that I was able to get to bowl longer spells after a long time." Harbhajhan said he was more happy to bowl to Tendulkar today more than to any other batsmen. He also expressed the hope that Rest of India batsmen Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh and V V S Laxman would be able to bat well and help the side clinch the TVS cup.
