Mumbai: New Zealand one-day specialists, including one of the hard-hitting batsman in the world, Chris Cairns, arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday to take part in the triangular One-day International (ODI) tournament to start from October 23. Seven other members, who arrived here apart from Cairns, were Chris Harris, Kyle Miles, Paul Hitchcock, Brendon Mccullum, Mark O'Donnel, Shanna Parsons and Robyn Redford.
The players took a connecting flight to Delhi immediately after their arrival to join their teammates, who will be playing in the second Test match at Mohali from Thursday.
The Kiwis are scheduled to play their first match in the tri-series on October 23 against hosts India at Chennai. World Champions Australia are the third team in the fray.
