Bangalore: Coach John Wright said that India's coming two matches in the tri-series are critical, and the team is looking forward to the return into the squad of regular skipper Sourav Ganguly when he is fit. "Obviously, we would like to win matches", he told reporters at the airport here when asked if he was disappointed by India's performance in the last two games. "But we are on equal footing with New Zealand....will have two big games which are critical", said Wright, accompanied by the team's physical trainer Gregory Allen King and spinner Harbhajan Singh. India is taking on Australia here on November 12 and New Zealand at Hyderabad on November 15.
Wright expressed hope that Ganguly would be available for Wednesday's encounter at M Chinnaswamy Stadium against the Aussies. "Obviously, we are looking forward to having him back in the side when he is fit", the coach added.
