Kolkata: Taking time off their busy cricketing schedule, the Pakistan team on Friday spent sometime with the children at a city orphanage 'The Refuge'.

The entire Pakistani players went to the central Kolkata home in the morning and mingled freely with the children, who seemed over whelmed at the sight of heroes like Shahid Afridi.

''I wasn't sure whether it was real or I was dreaming,'' said 12-year-old Panchu. The cricketers played some games with the under-privileged kids, and presented them momentous like their jerseys and caps, as also sweets and fruits.

Earlier, on their arrival, the cricketers from the neighbouring country were given a warm welcome by around 300 tiny inmates of the home, who handed them the Indian tri-colour and flowers.

"It's a proud moment for the orphanage. The moments spent with the Pak cricketers will remain ever fresh in the minds of these children,'' said the coordinator of the home.
