Bengal hit up 149 for five in 37.3 overs after bundling out Orissa for 148 in 47.4 overs.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Orissa began on a disastrous note losing six wickets for 78 runs.
Sanjay Raul (45) and P Pradhan (33) played a responsible knock and resisted Bengal attack for sometime to stitch up, 64 valuable run for the seventh wicket as all the other top order batsmen including test-discard S S Das (3) returned cheaply.
Chasing a easy target, Bengal received a set back losing its opener Nikhil Haldipur (23) at a score of 26 but opener Arindam Das (40) and skipper Devang Gandhi (55) cautious knock helped Bengal recover as they fetched 84 runs for the second wicket before Das fell well short of the crease in a bid to take a run.
Though Bengal lost Gandhi and Laxmi Ratan Shukla for a similar score of 120 but S Sanyal (10) and A Roy not out 15 saw their team surpass the target.
Bengal's Sanjib Sanyal bowled a tidy spell to wreck up Orissa's top order and emerged the most successful bowler with 4/21 followed by S S Paul and left-arm spinner Utpal Chatterjee two wickets apiece.
Bengal secured 19 points winning all the four league matches while Assam finished second on nine.
