Tuesday, February 10 2004 20:22 Hrs (IST)

Kolkata:A decision on whether the players apprehending security threat would make the coming tour of Pakistan would depend on the report of the Board' of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) security delegation currently visiting that country for an assessment.

"A delegation has gone to see the security arrangements. We have to wait and see what is its report. It is too early to comment on the issue," Indian skipper Ganguly told reporters in Kolkata on arrival from Hyderabad, which he transited through on the conclusion of the Australian tour.

A three-member BCCI delegation, headed by joint secretary Ratnakar Shetty and including a top police official, is in Pakistan to assess the security aspects at all the venues where matches are proposed to be held.

However, Shivlal Yadav, manager of the team for the Australian tour, told reporters in Hyderabad that "everybody is going to Pakistan".
