Prasar Bharati still having talks with PCB

Patna:Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Ravi Shankar Prasad, on Sunday said that Prasar Bharati is having talks with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for bagging terrestrial telecast rights for theforthcoming India-Pakistan series.

''We are still negotiating with the PCB for live telecast of the proposed cricket series on Doordarshan for viewers in India,'' Prasad said.

Prasad said that in the event the Prasar Bharati did not bag the telecast rights, it would only show the highlights of the match in a 20-minute capsule.
