London:Pakistan Test bowler Shabbir Ahmed has become the second player from his country to join English County side Gloucestershire for next season.

The 27-year-old, who has taken 33 wickets in six Test matches and has played 19 One-day Internationals, joins up with compatriot Shoaib Malik, who had a short spell with them last term.

"Shabbir is an exciting bowler who is well suited to English conditions and I think he'll greatly strengthen our side," said head coach and former England One-day International player Mark Alleyne.
