Lahore:The Pakistan Cricket Board is worried by a large number of fake tickets floating in the city ahead of the last two One-dayers between archrivals India and Pakistan.

PCB chief excutive officer (CEO) Rameez Raja said that there have been reports of some fake tickets floating in the city but police authorities would ensure that no fake ticket holder will be allowed inside the Gaddafi Stadium.

"We have made fool-proof arrangements that only valid ticket holders will be allowed to enter the Stadium. We have decided to make the matter public about the fake tickets to pre-empt the situation," he said.

Raja said about 600 people tried to enter the stadium in Karachi without valid tickets. "So we ask the public to be careful and not buy tickets from any unauthorised individual or outlet."

The PCB CEO said about 8000 Indian cricket fans, including some top businessmen like the Ambanis, were expected to watch the One-day and Test matches in Lahore.

Asked whether separate sitting arrangements would be made for the Indias spectators, Raja said "they will sit with the Pakistani public. There will be no separate arrangements for them."

The District Co-ordinating officer, Lahore, Khalid Sultan said all the security arrangements were reviewed .

"All the necesary security arrangements have been made for the match. This tour is very significant for India and Pakistan and we want to ensure that everything passes off smoothly."
