Sachin Bembi, a businessman from Ludhiana, is going to Lahore for one of the One-day Internationals to be played there in a huge group of 26 people. Tickets for the whole group, comprising family and friends, were booked at one go last week, said Bembi.
"We decided last week that we should all gang up and go to Pakistan for at least one match as it promised to be an experience to remember," he said. "All of us will be cheering the Indian team together in Lahore... It will be truly memorable for us," he said.
Similar is the case with the Chawlas, with 13 of them going to Lahore for the One-day International to be played on March 21. "We are all very excited about the trip. Especially so as our roots are in Pakistan," said Savitri Chawla, who was born in Pakistan but whose family moved to Delhi after the partition.
