''I have no particular strategy against Shoaib Akhtar. The ground and match situation would determine the strategy. Strategies cannot be pre-determined,'' Sehwag said.
Sehwag, who struck a ton in the practice match on the second day of the Indian team's conditioning camp in Kolkata ahead of the Pakistan tour, said that the tour would be tough but his side was fully prepared to taken on the challenges.
''Its not that I'm playing them for the first time. I played them in the World Cup. The conditions in Pakistan will be tough, but we will go there fully prepared,'' he said.
To persistent questions from mediapersons, Sehwag said that given a choice he would have opted to bat in the middle order, but presently there was no such scope for him in the Indian team.
''At present there is no such choice. There is no vacant slot in the middle order. I'll bat in the position that suits the team. So, I'm ready to open as one should not disturb team combination,'' he said.
