Railways had originally planned one AC coach, six-second class sleeper coaches and six general coaches for its two 'Cricket Specials' which will leave Delhi on March 19 and March 22.
However, when bookings for the first train opened, all 72 tickets for the one AC coach was sold out within half-an-hour, a Northern Railway release said.
As a result, Railways decided to add two more AC coaches and booking for these was also almost complete, it said. Over 250 tickets for the second-class sleeper coaches had been sold, the release added.
The 'Cricket Specials' will run till Attari in Punjab from where travellers will be taken by Pakistan Railways till Lahore.
