Pakistan reach 137 for two at lunch

Multan:Pakistan were 137 for two at lunch on the third day of the first Test match against India at Multan. Pakistan lost both their openers in the post-lunch session.

Taufeeq Umer was dismissed by Irfan Pathan for 23. He was caught by Dravid in the first slip. Imran Farhat was ruled out leg-before off the bowling of Balaji. Farhat made 38.

Yasir Hameed and Inzamam-ul-haq were the not out batsmen at lunch. Hameed was batting on 36 and Inzamam was on 31. The pair so far have added 64 runs for the third-wicket.

Pakistan still trail by 538 runs and require further 338 runs to avoid the follow-on.
