Islamabad:Former Pakistan pacers Rashid Khan and Jalaluddin have criticised former Australian batsman Dean Jones for passing indecent remarks against Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq during Saturday's first One-day International in Karachi.

During the Karachi ODI, Jones, now a commentator with Ten Sports channel, described Inzamam as "an idiot" after he won the toss and asked India to bat first at the National Stadium.

Both the former cricketers have asked the management of Ten Sports to ask Jones to tender an apology for making such remarks which they claimed had perturbed cricket lovers in Pakistan.

The former cricketers were of the opinion that commentators should be careful and refrain from making such harsh remarks which can trigger anger among Pakistani cricket lovers, fans of Inzamam and Pakistani team.

The commentator should have realised that he was not sitting in his personal drawing room or in the company of friends, but on a TV channel which is being watched and heard by millions of people all over the world and should have been extra careful, they said.
