Multan:Pakistan on Thursday dropped veteran off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq and included opener Imran Nazir for the second cricket Test against India at Lahore from April 5 to 9.

Saqlain, playing his first international since the World Cup last year, failed to make an impression in Multan and returned with figures of 1-204 in the only Indian innings.

The squad:

Inzamam-ul-Haq (captain), Yasir Hameed, Taufiq Umar, Imran Farhat, Imran Nazir, Yousuf Youhana, Asim Kamal, Abdul Razzaq, Shoaib Malik, Shoaib Akhtar, Shabbir Ali, Mohammad Sami, Danish Kaneria, Misbah-ul-Haq, Umar Gul.
