Multan:Pakistan were 11 for no loss in their second innings at lunch on the fourth day of the first Test against India being played at Multan. India enforced the follow-on after Pakistan were dismissed for 407 in their first innings.

Taufeeq Umer and Imran Farhat were batting on two and seven respectively.

Resuming at 364 for six, Pakistan lost overnight batsman Abdul Razzaq (47) off the very first ball of the day when Pathan snared him with a rising delivery. Pathan then had Saqlain Mushtaq (5) caught by Zaheer Khan before Shoaib Akhtar (0) returned a simple catch to Sachin Tendulkar as the hosts lost three wickets for seven runs.

But Mohammad Sami (15) and Shabbir Ahmed (19 no) kept the Indians at bay for more than an hour as they added 36 runs for the last wicket. Kumble finally broke their resistance when Sami padded upto him and the ball rolled on to the stumps.

Left-arm paceman Irfan Pathan ended up with four for 100 while Anil Kumble and Sachin Tendulkar grabbed two wickets each.
