Kolkata:Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly would fly out from Kolkata to re-join the Indian team in Pakistan after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief medical consultant confirmed his match fitness.

Disclosing this, BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya said that BCCI's chief medical consultant Dr Anand Joshi gave the green signal after going through the documents pertaining to Ganguly's medical treatment following the back injury sustained by him during the fifth and final One-dayer againstPakistan on March 24.

The BCCI chief said that arrangements were being made to enable Ganguly to fly on Wednesday to join the Indian team in Lahore so that he should be well in time to play the third and final Test beginning at Rawalpindi from April 13.
