Mumbai :Former Indian Test star, Mohinder Amarnath said on Saturday that blaming umpires after the humiliating nine-wicket defeat in the second Test at the hands of Pakistan at Lahore on Thursday won't do the Indian team any good.

Amarnath said that umpires are humans too and mistakes do happen but the Indian team should get over it and concentrate on how to get their acts together in the third and final Test match after they were totally outplayed byPakistan in the series levelling second Test.

"There is no doubt that this is "the best team" to tour Pakistan and the only way the Indian team can prove this point is by winning the next Test so that they win the series and not by complaining about the "substandard" umpiring", he added.

"First thing the Indian think-tank should do is to assess the areas which needs to be corrected. Most important being who will open the batting with Virender Sehwag. Finding a pair of reliable opening batsmen has been a bane for the team in the recent years and if they want Yuvraj Singh to openthen he should be told what the team wants from him", Mohinder said.

Amarnath, who was considered as the best batsman in the world against pace bowlers, also praised Sehwag for his triple ton and Irfan Pathan for his fine seam bowling.

Meanwhile, six schools teams one each from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Amritsar will vie for top honours in the Parle Champions Trophy to be held in Mumbai from April 19 to 24.
