India opts to bat first at Lahore

Lahore:India's captain Rahul Dravid won the toss and chose to bat on a greenish wicket in the second Test against Pakistan at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore.

India made one change from the side that won the first Test at Multan by an innings and 52 runs last week, replacing the injured Zaheer Khan with seamer Ajit Agarkar.

Pakistan made four changes, dropping Abdul Razzaq, Shabbir Ahmed, Saqlain Mushtaq and injured wicketkeeper Moin Khan.

Their places were taken by left-handed batsman Asim Kamal, fast bowler Umar Gul, leg-spinner Danish Kaneria and reserve 'keeper Kamran Akmal.

India: Rahul Dravid (capt), Virender Sehwag, Aakash Chopra, Sachin Tendulkar, Venkatsai Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Parthiv Patel, Irfan Pathan, Laxmipathy Balaji, Ajit Agarkar, Anil Kumble.

Pakistan: Inzamam-ul-Haq (capt), Yousuf Youhana, Imran Farhat, Taufiq Umer, Yasir Hameed, Asim Kamal, Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Sami, Umar Gul, Danish Kaneria.
