New Delhi:Prasar Bharati on Thursday wanted to know from Ten Sports the amount of additional revenue the Dubai-based channel generated by putting its live feed of the India-Pakistan cricket matches on Doordarshan.

Attorney General Soli Sorabjee appearing before a Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice V N Khare wanted to know from the channel various other aspects of the revenue generated by it.

The bench while fixing the hearing of the case on May 3 directed Ten Sports' India concern to file all relevant documents by that day.

Appearing for Modi Entertainment Network, which was the exclusive distributor of Ten Sports in India, senior advocate Harish Salve claimed that the network had suffered huge losses due to telecast of matches live on Doordarshan. He wanted appointment of arbitrators to quantify damages due to it.
