"It is very special. The best day of my cricketing career. I am so happy. This really tops the list," said the stylish middle-order batsman whose epic knock guided India to an innings and 131-run win over their arch-rivals at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
The timing of the knock was also sweet for Dravid as he made amends for his poor show in the first two Tests of the series with the mammoth knock.
"Probably, I played a few poor shots in the first two games. Now that I got a life when I was on 71 I made the most of it. May be I was unlucky in the earlier innings," said Dravid, who was named the Man-of-the-Match.
He complimented the bowlers for setting the stage for the Indian win by restricting Pakistan to 224 in the first innings.
"Bowlers did a great job. We knew we had to bat once and come up with a big score. The partnerships helped with almost all the batsmen making valuable contributions."
Dravid said he was also impressed with the way the series progressed and happy with the hospitality of Pakistanis.
"It was a great series and the crowd must have enjoyed it. Pakistanis gave us good attention. So we will be reciprocating when they tour India next," he said.
