Kumble, Agarkar and Chopra join Indian team

Multan:Veteran leg-spinner Anil Kumble, paceman Ajit Agarkar and opener Aakash Chopra have joined the Indian squad and flew in along with their other teammates for the first of the three-match Test series beginning on Sunday.

The trio flew in to Lahore from New Delhi and then took the connecting flight with the rest of the team except injured skipper Sourav Ganguly.

One-day specialist Mohammad Kaif, middle order batsman Hemang Badani and Amit Bhandari, who were not included in the Test squad, returned home to watch the action from the sidelines.

Ganguly, alongwith team physio Andrew Leipus, will join the team in Multan on Friday.
