"The team has more spinners this time as we think they can prove more effective," chief selector Faruq Ahmed said on Tuesday.
Abdur Razzak and Faisal Hossain are the two newcomers who can bat as well as bowl spin.
Prolific batsman Habibul Bashar has been retained as captain.
Bangladesh will play three One-day Internationals and two Test matches on their maiden tour of the West Indies.
The first One-dayer begins on May 15 at St Vincent.
Fast bowler Monjurul Islam and batsman Al-Shahriar were dropped from the side that toured Zimbabwe early this year.
Bangladesh are still searching for their maiden victory since gaining Test status in 2000. They have lost 26 of their 28 Tests and salvaged draw in two rain-hit matches against Zimbabwe.
They recently beat Zimbabwe in a One-dayer for their first win since 1999.
The selectors said Javed Omar, Enamul Haque and Alamgir Kabir would join the squad for the Test series.
The team leaves for the West Indies on May 6.
