BCCI~~s first pension cheque on May 21

Mumbai:The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will distribute the cheques to former Test cricketers and umpires under the newly introduced pension scheme on May 21.

The first cheque of Rs 5000 will be handed over to them at different headquarters of affiliated associations, a BCCI release said on Friday.

However, from the next month onwards the amount will be credited to the bank account of the cricketers and umpires, the release added.
