''All these reports are baseless... only rumours,'' Kumble told newspersons on the sidelines of the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) third spin conclave in Kolkata.
''I have never considered quitting One-dayers. At this moment I'm focussed on doing well in the Asia Cup,'' the lanky spinner said.
Kumble, who has already embarked on an intense fitness and practice regime with the Colombo event in mind, said that he had not set any individual target for himself.
He replied in the negative when asked if he had now set his eyes on getting 450 wickets in Tests.
Kumble said that he had enjoyed 'every minute' of the break from the game after India's historic tour to Pakistan.
''I needed this. This has helped me in recharging my batteries,'' he added.
