Mumbai :The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not received any communication from Harbhajan Singh seeking permission to play for English club Lashings this month.

Reacting to reports that the off-spinner is scheduled to play for the club for one month which clashes with the conditioning camp for the Asia Cup probables in Bangalore, BCCI chief Jagmohan Dalmiya said in Mumbai, "We have not received any letter from Harbhajan Singh seeking permission".

Media reports in England have said that Harbhajan is set to make a ceremonious return from a six-month injury lay off when he plays alongside some of the game's all time greats in a 20 overs a side match for Lashings in Kent on Tuesday.

The off-spinner, who has been out of action since aggravating a finger injury during the first Test against Australia in December, was scheduled to join Lashings on Monday on a month-long contract; the BBC said quoting a clubofficial.

The first leg of the Asia Cup conditioning camp for the 26 probables, including the off-spinner, is scheduled from June 13 to 19. The second leg of the camp is slated to begin on July 3.
