Bangalore :India's senior cricketers including captain Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and new sensation Virender Sehwag and a few others with potential to break into the top side are gathering in Bangalore for a week-long fitness camp from Sunday ahead of a packed international calendar.

After a rewarding last season, which saw India's historic triumph over Pakistan, the players would now be seeking to regain top fitness after the well-deserved break.

It is now back to fitness training -- beep test, strengthening, core stability, cardio-vascular, speed endurance tests and more.

And it's going to be a real sweating out for them -- physical trainer Gregory Allen King, in charge of the camp, would swear by that.

Ganguly and the youngest wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel have already arrived in Bangalore for the camp in the lead up to Asia Cup in Sri Lanka next month and other two engagements including ICC champions trophy and a four-Test match home series against Australia and South Africa.

Ganguly and Parthiv, after a brief rest, joined the pace bowlers who are already under training since about a week and went into the practice session.

And, as they did at the last August camp in Bangalore, the players would start their day with hour-long Yoga sessions, followed by fitness exercises and tests, aiming to achieve total fitness ahead of a gruelling season.

The players attending the camp would return to their respective destinations on June 19 to return on July 3 for another week of training.

Those attending the camp are:

Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, V V S Laxman, Yuvaraj Singh, Mohammed Kaif, Parthiv Patel, Anil Kumble, Harbajan Singh, Murali Kartik, Ramesh Powar, Aakash Chopra, Hemang Badani, Sairaj Bahutule, Zaheer Khan, Asish Nehra, Ajit Agarkar, Irfan Pathan, Lakshmipathy Balaji, Bandari, Rohan Gavaskar and Gautam Gambhir.
