TNCA~~s cricket academy on the cards

Chennai:The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) will soon set up a cricket academy to spot and train talented youngsters, president of the association N Srinivasan said.

The association would also lay turf wickets in every district in the State, Srinivasan said speaking at the 74th annual day function of the association.

Regretting that Tamil Nadu failed to win the Ranji Trophy despite reaching the final in the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons, he hoped that the State would reach the finals this season and be third time lucky.
