India 'A' to tour Zimbabwe and Kenya

Mumbai:India 'A' would play two four-day cricket matches against the Kenyan national team at the conclusion of the triangular series featuring the Indians, the hosts and Pakistan 'A' in August.

The triangular tournament kicks off on August 11 with the clash between Pakistan 'A' and Kenya leading upto the final on August 21, as per the itinerary received by the Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India from the Kenya Cricket Association (KCA).

Each team would play the other three times in the round-robin stage before the top two teams clash in the summit clash.

India 'A' team would stay on after the conclusion of the triangular series to play two four-day matches against the hosts from August 26 to September 4.

Prior to the visit to Kenya, the India 'A' squad will visit Zimbabwe to play a series of three four-day ties against the host nation's national team.

This tour commences on July 22 and ends on August 8. The venues of the three matches are yet to be decided.


Zimbabwe leg:

July 22-25: Vs Zimbabwe

July 29-August 2: Vs Zimbabwe

August 5-8: Vs Zimbabwe.
