"The senior tournament committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) would meet here (Mumbai) on July 21 and the agendafor the meeting includes Rajasthan's protest against Assam,"BCCI joint secretary Prof Ratnakar Shetty said in Mumbai on Wednesday.
"Rajasthan have lodged a protest saying Assam fielded more than the permitted three professional players in last season's Elite division match. This protest would be taken up at the meeting," Shetty explained.
"The meeting would also decide on the posting of match referees," he added.
The tours programmes and fixtures committee is also scheduled to meet in Mumbai, a day before the senior tournament committee's meeting or a day after, to draw up next season's cricket programme, both international and domestic.
