Bangalore:India 'A' left for Zimbabwe where the side will play three 4-day games before proceeding to Kenya for the tri-series, also featuring Pakistan 'A'.

Coach Sandeep Patil and Sairaj Bahutule-led team took the flight to Mumbai from where they are going to Zimbabwe via Johannesburg.

The first game against Zimbabwe is slated to commence later this week.

Both Patil and Bahutule said the twin tour is a good opportunity for the players to prove their mettle and skills.

India 'A' players took part in a week-long preparatory camp in Bangalore, which concluded on Sunday.

Because of rains, most of the training was confined indoors.

Former England opener Geoffrey Boycott had also interacted with the players and passed a few tips to them.
