Perth:Former Zimbabwe allrounder, Sean Ervine, who first catapulted himself to fame when he racked up a power-packed one-day international century against a formidable Indian attack during the VB Series in Australia last season, is these days plying his trade in Australia.

The strongly-build southpaw, whose international career has been cut short by the ongoing bitter row with the Zimbabwe Cricket Board (ZCU), will turn out for Australian state side Western Australia as they are slated to take part in two trial games at Lilac Hill this weekend.

A player who has a wide array of strokes on both sides of the wicket, Ervnie is the second Zimbabwean to play in the Australian domestic circuit. Earlier, Murray Goodwin hang up his international cricket boots and shifted base to Australia and played for the same state side.
