Kolkata:Indian coach John Wright would continue in his post till the Pakistan tour to India in March, 2005.

Announcing this here today, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president-elect Ranbir Singh Mahendra said, ''Wright is very much with the Indian team. He will be there in the coming series against Australia, South Africa and Pakistan''.

Setting at rest speculations about Wright's imminent removal in view of the poor performance of the Indians in recent international engagements, BCCI secretary S K Nair said, ''Wright will be the coach till the Pakistan tour. After that a decision may be taken depending on his availability and other factors''.

Nair also ruled out any move to rope in Australian cricketing legend Greg Chappel as the coach, saying there was no talks held between the cricketer and the BCCI in this regard.
