The gangling fast bowler, who had to miss the recently-held ICC Champions Trophy in England was optimistic of playing the Sri Lankans in the two Test series that follows the ongoing Triangular One-day series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
"The Pakistan board had sent me to Cape Town for treatment on my knee and a specialist there did immediate surgery on my right knee. I think I can recover in two weeks time and should be available for the Test series against Sri Lanka," he said.
