Hodge to turn out for Lancashire

London:Australian middle-order batsman Brad Hodge has inked a two-year contract with English Country Lancashire. Hodge, who is currently on tour in India along with star Sri Lankan offie Muttiah Muralitharan, would be Lancashire's overseas players for the 2005 season.

The 29-year-old batsman was the leading scorer in the 2004 Championship, amassing 1528 runs at an average of under 62, and also played a big hand in scripting Leicestershire's victory in the Twenty20 Cup with a fine 77 in the final showdown.
