King oozed confidence that the West Indies can be a force in world cricket.
"I'm looking forward to this assignment. I'm pretty confident that the West Indies can be be a force once again to be reckoned with in both forms of the game," King said.
King has inked a three year deal and the One-day tri-series in Australia in January will be his first assignment.
