New Delhi:The high-profile marriage of India's cricketing sensation Virender Sehwag is in the newsagain after six months but for the wrong reasons.

A man who claimed to have taken care of arrangements for the marriage for the bride's family has accused them of defaulting on payment of expenses worth Rs 2.77 lakh.

Virender Saini, proprietor of Flower Art shop, has sent a legal notice to Sehwag's father-in-law Swaraj Singh Ahlawat to demand payment of the amount and filed a complaint with Bara Hindu Rao Police Station alleging intimidation by Ahlawat.

When contacted, Ahlawat refused to say anything, except that the legal notice will be replied legally.

"The total expense incurred on the arrangements were Rs 3.47 lakh, of which they have paid Rs 60,000. For the rest, they are showing no inclination to pay and are engaging indilly dallying tactics," Saini told PTI here today.

In his notice, Saini said that he had incurred expenses of Rs 1.5 lakh on tent decoration, Rs one lakh on flower decoration, Rs 12,000 on DJ music system, Rs 30,000 waiter services, Rs 25,000 ring ceremony decoration, Rs 10,000 on fire-crackers and Rs 10,000 on plant and tree decoration.

He alleged that he had been receiving false promises from Ahlawat all through that his payment will be made. "Even last month, a promise was made to make the paymentby October 10. But then I was told that I will get it by October 15," he charged, adding that he had been compelled to send legal notice to him after failing to get the money.

He said he had filed the complaint with police after Ahlawat allegedly waylaid him on November four and issued threats.
