Kolkata:Yuvraj Singh's heroics in the end and significant contributions from the top order took India to 292 for the loss of six wickets, highest ever by India at Eden Gardens, in the Board of Control for Cricket in India Platinum Jubilee ODI.

Yuvraj's 78 runs included ten fours and two sixes. Captain Ganguly (48), Sehwag (53) and Laxman (43) also contributed to the score.

Only Shahid Afridi (2/29 in 10 overs) was able to give Indians a scare as he picked up the wickets of Laxman and Sehwag who looked in good form and were well set to play a long innings.
